Glass Locks

Glass Locks consists of kiln-cast clear or pink glass locks installed throughout the urban environment of downtown San Jose, effectively locking whatever they were attached to. Once installed, the locks had to be broken to be removed. Through their guerrilla-style placement and humor, the works engage questions of public and private space, accessibility, class, citizenship, and functionality. 2013
